With staycations this summer's hottest trend, we are all searching for exciting new places to explore at home.
Research by online auto trading service WeBuyBrokenVans has been researching to find the most Instagrammed road trips in the UK and Ireland.
The team divided the amount of photographs taken by the amount of miles - to create a ‘posts per mile’ calculation revealing which roads are the most popular.
Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way is the most popular route, with 894 posts per mile. This is followed by Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coastal Route with 414 and then Scotland’s North Coast 500 with 250.

Reflecting on the findings Dominic Hickman MD for WeBuyBrokenVans said:
"The real benefit of the UK and Ireland when it comes to road trips is size and diversity - all countries are relatively speaking, quite small which makes them easy to drive, but at the same time, the scenery changes dramatically - from sweeping coastlines to rolling hills - there’s something for everyone."
The Giant's Causeway secured a spot as one of seven natural UK wonders back in May - a list of natural landmarks that are unified by their shared beauty, uniqueness, and geological significance.

This is a great place to grab a coffee or bite to eat as you walk through the square. Top tip: look up and you'll see the Spire of Hope from St Anne's Cathedral peeking through.
