As the coundown continues to one of the biggest weddings of the year, the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, it turns out that guests lucky enough to be invited have a strict number of rules they must follow.

As you would expect with a big event such as this, there will be a lot of security and according to a number of guests invited to the special day, they have been given a seven-page long list of guidelines and rules!

According to some of the guests, they have been advised not to use a train or bus, and should meet at Windsor Farm Shop after taking either a 'red' or 'green' route. When they arrive at the farm shop they will have to undergo strict security checks and show ID.

When it comes to luggage, no hand luggage is allowed at all, except for a small handbag and 'rainwear', and cameras are completely banned.

heatworld reports that before the private reception, after the ceremony, 'phones and any other devices used for image capture' will be confiscated and returned to guests at the end of the night.

The Daily Express also reports that the guidance states, 'It should be noted that gifts cannot be brought to St George’s Chapel or the Reception that follows at Windsor Castle. Guests are advised to seek further guidance on delivery arrangements for any gifts to Kensington Palace.'

According to heatworld the toilet facilities are also restricted, 'Guests are advised that there are very limited toilet facilities in St George’s Chapel, but these are available for guests’ use between 9am and 11am at which point this facility will become restricted for the duration of the service.' The facilities will then reopen at 1pm.

When it comes to what you can and can't bring with you, guests have been told not to wear their medals, or bring their swords! Men should wear a morning coat or lounge suit, and women should wear a day dress and hat.

Back in March details of some of the wedding guests were revealed. Away from the speculation of celebrity guests such as the Spice Girls, Elton John and Ed Sheeran, the couple announced they would like to invite quite a few members of the public!

A statement released on Twitter said, 'Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too. This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the Bride and Groom.'

In total there would be 2,640 people invited to the grounds of Windsor Castle to watch the arrival of the Bride and Groom.

Last week it was revealed that Meghan's Dad would be walking her down the aisle at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and her mum, Ms Doria Ragland, would travel with her daughter by car to the Castle.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement was announced back in November 2017 with a photoshoot of the couple soon after.

Since then details of the timings of the Royal Wedding were revealed along with details of the wedding cake, which will be breaking away from the traditional fruitcake.

There has also been much talk about who has been invited to the wedding, with an A-List couple being confirmed recently. Miguel Perez, who does Meghan's hair when she is in London, revealed the A-list couple, George and Amal Clooney will be attending the big day later in the month.

The wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take place on Saturday 19th May at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
