Ever since the untimely death of dance DJ Avicii back in April this year, there have been many rumours as to whether or not any of his music will be released posthumously. Now, details have emerged of an album that will be released featuring his music, which will include some big collaborations.

'I Need A Dollar' singer, Aloe Blacc, who was a friend of the late DJ, has been speaking to the Daily Star about the music, saying that Avicii's parents have been working with Avicii's label on the tracks that were left unreleased.

The singer explained, "There are several songs left. I believe the record label is working with his parents and the estate to find a way to bring these unreleased songs to the public. But for me there’s no rush – I would leave that with his parents."

As well as Aloe, music legend Nile Rogers has previously spoken about working with the DJ saying that he recorded "at least" 10 songs with Avicii. And it is now believed that the three of them worked on a collaboration.

During the interview, Aloe also took the time to pay tribute to his friend speaking about Avicii's hit, 'Wake Me Up', which was a hit around the world.

"It’s still a song of celebrations and nostalgia, and hope for the future. I think the hope for the future part is even stronger," Aloe explained, "Avicii’s death has been a call to a lot of young folks for people to take better care of themselves and surround themselves with people who are looking out for their best interests."

Avicii's death shocked the music industry back in April, when he died at the age of just 28. The DJ had previously revealed he retired from touring, however he returned to music after a year out and released the collaboration with Rita Ora, 'Lonely Together'.

'Lonely Together' was his last release in August 2017.

No date has been revealed yet for the as-yet untitled album.
