Training is well under way for Gemma Atkinson as she goes after The Glitterball Trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, however her poor feet are certainly feeling it. The Key 103 breakfast presenter has been training eight hours a day with her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec since the show began and it's taking its toll on her feet.

Speaking to her co-hosts, Matt and Mike, Gemma revealed the bruises and cuts she'd received since she started the show.

Matt and Mike love to comment on what they call Gemma's finger-toes and recently put Gemma's dance partner, Aljaz, on the spot when they asked him what he thought of her toes.

Explaining that he had seen Gemma's feet when they filmed the promo earlier in the month. He said he had noticed her nail polish, but that wasn't what Matt and Mike really wanted to talk about.

According to Matt and Mike, Gemma's toes are more like Frodo's from Lord of the Rings!

Even before Strictly Come Dancing started Gemma's toes have been a topic of conversation on the Key 103 breakfast show.

Gemma revealed her toes to Matt and Mike earlier this year when they were astounded to find out that she could even change the channel on the TV or write with them! Check out the video below of Gemma showcasing her talent.

While talking to Aljaz, Matt and Mike also asked him about their chemistry while on the show. When they asked if he could tell from "day one" whether or not they had chemistry, Aljaz said the chemistry is always important, but he also loves teaching someone who has never done ballroom or Latin dancing before.

He also described Gemma as a "lovely student" saying she can't wait to learn how to dance, however previously Gemma has described herself as dancing like "Bambi on ice", so it sounds like Aljaz has his work cut out!

Aljaz previously won Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 with model Abbey Clancy, so Gemma is in good hands. Good luck Gemma!
