World Piano Day is an annual event which takes place on the 88th day of the year and has been designed to celebrate the incredible instrument that has brought joy to so many of us over the years! Whether you play the piano yourself, or you just appreciate it from afar, we can all agree that there's a lot to love about this beautiful instrument.

World Piano Day is always celebrated on the 88th day of the year, because of the number of keys on a piano. This year it falls on March 29th and here at Scala Radio, we have lots planned to celebrate the annual event.

Screen Time with Charles Nove

Charles Nove is kicking off the proceedings with a special World Piano Day edition of Screen Time. Listen from 9am as he celebrates the piano with music by Max Richter, Phillip Glass and Rachel Portman that have featured on the big and small screen.
