We have been given exclusive access to music from ‘Until It’s Gone’, a special live recording by the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the Swingle Singers as part of a celebration of Earth Day which takes place on Friday 22nd April.

The Swingles and National Youth Choir of Great Britain (NYCGB) joined forces for a performance of a brand new choral work - Until It’s Gone: Songs For Our Planet - which focuses directly on the current climate crisis, using the words and thoughts of the young choir members and set to music using the song-writing talents of The Swingles.

The new work explores the theme ‘environment’, not only the natural world and climate crisis but also the choir members' own home environments and the challenges, concerns and hopes they have for our planet.

'Until It’s Gone' formed an integral part of a 90-minute performance at the Fireworks Factory venue in Woolwich, with the addition of performances of Rachel Portman’s searing choral work, Earth Song and a set of songs from The Swingles with accompaniment from National Youth Choir.

We have been given exclusive access to music from the event which will be throughout the day on Earth Day (Friday 22nd April), as well as over the weekend on Angellica Bell’s show.

That’s not all, Jack Pepper is also playing the world premiere recording of ‘Until its Gone: Music for Our Planet’ from the evening during The Culture Bunker on Saturday at 6pm.
