Gaz Beadle opens up about his girlfriend Emma McVay's pregnancy

Geordie Shore star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle shocked his fans last night when he announced his girlfriend Emma McVey is expecting their first child.

Posting the news to his fans on social media, Gaz shared a shot of himself and Emma writing, ''SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY... @Emmamcvey 😱❤️👶🏼👫' sic

He later shared a photo of a baby scan, a dummy and a pair of baby shoes with the caption, 'Meet my baby wow that sounds so crazy....... can't believe I am going to be a dad..... I am soooo excited ❤️👶🏼' sic

Just hours after his initial announcement on Twitter, Gaz took to his Snapchat account to tell fans even more details about his upcoming new arrival.

After receiving tons of messages congratulating him, Gaz said, "It means so much, all the messages on Instagram and Twitter. I'm going to be a dad, honestly I could not be more excited. I can't wait, I'm ready for it, I'm so excited."

Hinting that the baby was planned, Gaz then said, "I love kids, I always have and I feel like this is the right time. I thought I'd be scared but I'm not."

The 29-year-old then dropped the news that he already knows the sex of his unborn baby. Speaking to the camera, he added, "Also quick one... I know the sex of the baby, and I'm not going to tell any of yous!" sic

The recent baby news was a massive shock to fans after it was reported Gaz and Emma had ended their romance last month.

Gaz first started dating the 24-year-old model back in August last year, with the party boy noticeably toning down his lifestyle on the last series of Geordie Shore.

However rumours emerged last month that the couple had gone their separate ways, but it looks like they were untrue as the couple looked over the moon with their exciting baby news!

Now he's set to be become a daddy it's unclear if Gaz will appear on any more series of hit MTV show Geordie Shore.

However, he is set to appear on the brand new series which has already been filmed. Gaz joins the likes of Aaron Chalmers, Scotty T, Chloe Ferry and Sophie Kasaei for the new series which begins on MTV on Tuesday 29th August.
