Magic visit Winter Wonderland Hyde Park

London's Hyde Park is transformed into a festive Wonderland!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

And as you may have noticed, we're not ones to shy away from embracing the some festive spirit. (Our very own dedicated station, Magic Christmas being the proof in the Christmas pudding.)

So here's what happened when the Magic team donned hats, scarves and gloves for a trip to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland…

With over one hundred festive rides and attractions including the biggest open–air ice rink in the UK (Tovill and Dean eat your heart out!) Winter Wonderland's preview night attracted some familiar faces.

We took the opportunity to ask how they prepare for the festive season:

And whilst we gathered the Christmas tips, we left it to Harriet Scott to figure out the fairground optical mirror illusions…

…and deciding whether or not she could be tempted by Munich Looping, the largest transportable roller coaster in the world!

(But not before she met with Emma B for some dutch courage in the Bavarian Village, home to the Fire Pit bar!)

And not that we're biased, but our favourite of all the attractions?

It's got to be the Giant Observation Wheel.

With views over Hyde Park our very own Richard Allinson provides the voice over introduction as you step aboard and buckle up!

It's then time for you to decide on the soundtrack to your ride. Chose between Magic Radio, Magic Chilled, Magic Christmas or Mellow Magic as you take in the sights of the park and beyond.

One wheel loop complete, it was time to get fed and watered – diets out of the window, waffles and chocolate spread crepes were order of the day! – before heading home.

(But judging by Tom Price's face, we'll be back!)

Winter Wonderland Hyde Park is open now until 1st January 2018.
