"This is what my husband has resorted to" said one wife when uploading a video of her husband taking part in a Freddie Mercury tribute on the roof of the couple's home.

While she may have initially been exasperated by her husband's antics, it seems it's just the remedy that the world has needed with the video being viewed over two million times on social media!

In the clip, the man can be seen what looks like a broom and using it as a microphone to help recreate Freddie's iconic Live Aid performance. With a dog barking along in the background and the odd cheer from residents, the man was filled with energy as he mimed along to the iconic "Ay-Oh" audience participation moment from the 1985 Live Aid concert.

Uploaded by the man's mother onto YouTube, comments have flooded in praising the unnamed man with hundreds of Queen fans telling him that "Freddie would be proud!".

Meanwhile, Brain May has commented on the lockdown, saying that he thinks some "great lessons will be learned... that we can work from home, the cars can stop, the planes can stop, the air can get clean. I mean, suddenly, we can all breath again. That's going to save countless lives"
