The last thing you think of when taking the rubbish out is how you look but one group of women in Australia have started a viral trend like no other. To help spread a little cheer to the local community during these social distancing times, people have taken to dressing up in their finest ballgowns and doing their hair and makeup just to dispose of the rubbish.

Called "Bin Isolation Outings", the trend was started by Danielle Askew, the Facebook group now has more than 305,000 members from all over the world sharing their extravagant looks.

The movement started because "the bin goes out more than we do these days" and people have also taken to dressing up their bins!

While Danielle initially started off taking the rubbish out in a ballgown, people have taken to all sorts of fancy dress including Disney characters, Halloween costumes and even a giant Pikachu!

The "bin isolation outings" trend has taken over every social media channel possible with people posting their photos and videos and encouraging others to get involved.
