Beautiful name of Ronan Keating's granddaughter revealed
His son Jack become a dad in March!
Magic Breakfast's Ronan Keating was made a grandad for the first time earlier this year, when his son, Love Island 2022 star Jack Keating, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world.
Jack surprised his social media followers in March by announcing he'd become a dad for the first time, and now his ex-girlfriend has confirmed the adorable name of his daughter.
Although Jack is no longer in a relationship with his ex Keeley, the pair do co-parent their little bundle of joy. During a Q&A on Instagram, Keeley confirmed the pair's daughter is called Maya Ann Keating.
She said: "Her name is Maya Ann Keating. Ann was my mum's name. She watches Maya from heaven."
Jack, who is the eldest son of Boyzone singer Ronan, first announced the shock news he'd become a dad back in March this year.
Taking to Instagram to post a black and white photo of himself cradling his newborn, Jack wrote: 'Welcome to the world my little 👸'.
Just weeks after her birth, Ronan, who presents Magic Breakfast alongside Harriett Scott every weekday morning, told The One Show co-host Jermain Jenas what he'd like to be called by his granddaughter when she's old enough to talk.
After Jermaine referred to Ronan as 'grandad', the Boyzone singer said: "Yes I am, my son had a gorgeous baby."
But when Jermaine revealed Ronan won't be called grandad, Ronan said: "Uh, pops, we'll go with that, perfect."
