It was announced last month that Ayda and Robbie will be joining this year's X Factor panel alongside Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell.

The new panel of judges appeared at a press conference on Tuesday 17th July where Simon told the media, “This new panel is all about optimism, everyone has a real passion for finding a new star. The three new judges bring a whole new energy and I’m excited.”

Although nothing has been officially confirmed by ITV, rumour has it that this year's categories have already been dished out to the judges as the Six Chair Challenge has already been filmed.

According to reports, Simon Cowell has the Girls, former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has the Boys, Robbie Williams will take charge of the Groups, and his wife Ayda will look after the Overs.

The X Factor is due to begin next month on ITV. Find out everything you need to know about the new series right here.
