She's been keeping a low profile since the birth of her first child Bear with her boyfriend Liam Payne, but now it's being reported that Cheryl could be making a return to TV talent show The X Factor.

Cheryl last appeared on the ITV show back in 2014, but if show boss Simon Cowell has his way, the former Girls Aloud star could be making a comeback for this year's Judges' Houses stage.

According to new reports, Simon is willing to pay out a massive £500,000 to lure Cheryl back to the show and is even trying to get her partner and One Direction singer Liam Payne to join her.

A source close to Simon said, "Simon wants to pull out all the stops for this year’s show, and bagging Cheryl’s long-awaited return to telly would be one of his top wishes."

They added, "It would be telly gold … Nothing’s decided yet, but bosses are very fond of Cheryl and when she’s ready to do something, of course we’d be interested."

Cheryl has enjoyed a successful stint on the show in the past. After joining the judging panel back in 2008, Cheryl won the show with Alexandra Burke in the same year and again a year later with Joe McElderry.

Cheryl later left in 2010 and returned for one more year in 2014.
