Just when we thought superstar singer Adele couldn't get anymore amazing, the 'Hello' singer has just confirmed she got ordained so she could marry Alan Carr and his husband Paul Drayton.

After the comedian let slip about the news during appearances on both This Morning and The One Show yesterday, Adele confirmed the news in a post on Instagram.

Sharing a picture of herself wearing a white robe as she posed in front of a flower wall, Adele wrote, 'Seeing as the cats out the bag. I married two of my best friends in January. You know me any excuse to dress up... @chattyman #LoveisLove 🏳️‍'. sic

Not only did Adele marry Alan and Paul, the singer planned the whole event and even hosted the ceremony in her back garden in Los Angeles!

Speaking about Adele's part in the wedding, Alan said, "So she did everything, and she got ordained, and she married us."

He later told The One Show, "We've known her for ages and when we told her we were getting married, she said, 'Can I please plan the whole day for you?' So she organised everything. She's the kindest, sweetest, most generous person ever."

Meanwhile, Adele has been taking some time off from the music industry after she was forced to cancel her final two shows at Wembley Stadium last year.

Following her doctor's orders, Adele penned an emotional statement to fans explaining she'd damaged her vocal cords and therefore would not be able to finish her tour.

Before cancelling her final two shows, Adele suggested that she'd never tour again in a handwritten note shared in the concert programme.

Admitting she feels reluctant to tour the world again, Adele wrote, 'So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end. We have taken this tour across uk+ Ireland, throughout Europe, all over America and I finally got to go to Australia and New Zealand too. Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is! I've done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123, it has been hard out an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done. I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live. And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home. Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now" ❤️Adele'. sic

If she does decide not to tour again, maybe wedding planning could be a new career for her! 👰
