What can we expect from your show?
"My two jobs are to wake you up with a smile each morning, and help get you to where you need to be the quickest! Plus there’s the usual mix of wild stories, fun games and giveaways and a big slice of Lincolnshire every morning."
What is your favourite thing about presenting your show?
"It HAS to be the listeners – some people have compared the show to a confessional with the stories and embarrassing things people are willing to tell me! They should use me for police interrogations..."
What features will listeners hear in your show?
"The Quickest quiz in radio is on each day with the Famous Five, the school children of Lincolnshire take over with Hide & Seek and Kids Tell Jokes and there’s the Throwback TV Theme to identify!"
What’s your favourite thing about Lincolnshire?
"I mean, bargain hunter over here so you’ll regularly catch me rummaging around in Horncastle or at Hemswell car boot. And the rolling countryside and the sight of the Red Arrows practicing over your head doesn’t get old either!"
So far, what’s been one of your most memorable on-air moments?
"Climbing the tower of Boston Stump nearly twenty times back to back for Cash for Kids was quite something… but we’ve had some incredible stories on air like the lady who got a tattoo of her ex’s name to win him back (and failed!), and getting Harry Styles to sing the Balamory theme feels like an achievement."
Aside from waking up Lincolnshire each morning, what do you get up to?
"You’ll find me at the cinema more often than not (the Kinema in the Woods is one of Lincolnshire’s hidden gems, but those sofas at the Everyman are comfy), and I love seeing the animals at Elsham, the seals at Donna Nook and occasionally head back to my hometown of Stamford."
Tell us what 'childhood you' would have been up to...
"Probably with his freckled nose in a copy of the Beano, or dreaming up a career as a private detective (never came off, when I realised it’s difficult to be subtle when you look like a Guess Who character with ginger hair)."
Which song is the ultimate throwback song?
"New Radical’s You Get What You Give is timeless… but McFly’s All About You was the first song I ever bought so it’ll have to be that."
