Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins reportedly still in hospital and being treated for jaundice

News broke over the weekend that Beyonce has welcomed her twin babies with husband Jay-Z.
The couple are yet to officially confirm the news, however Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles took to Twitter to let everyone know he was a granddad again.
Matthew tweeted an image of a birthday card which read ‘Happy Birthday to the twins! Love Granddad’ along with the caption ‘they’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday’
Now reports suggest Beyonce and Jay-Z haven’t taken their little ones home yet. Sources close to the Knowles have told TMZ, that the twins were born prematurely and are 'under the lights'. Many people are interpreting this to mean that the twins are being treated for jaundice.
Jaundice is not uncommon in new borns especially twins which are rarely carried to full term. It occurs when they are high levels of bilirubin in the blood and being ‘under the lights’ ensures the levels of bilirubin in the body are lowered.
Beyonce announced she was pregnant in February, wearing a green veil and holding her belly. She caption the picture “We would like to share our love and happiness.
