It's safe to say 33-year-old builder Harrison Boon wasn't the most-loved contestant on 2023's series of Married At First Sight Australia, landing the role of 'series villain' after his behaviour towards wife Bronte Schofield - but we must admit he certainly brought the drama, all the way to the finale. But where is the reality star now after his stint on the popular show?

As well as apparently dating a 20-year-old just days before his wedding, Harrison was accused by his fellow cast members and the experts of 'gaslighting' 28-year-old Bronte during their time in the experiment, something he always denied. From new girlfriends, to hinting at a proposal, here's what we know about MAFS Aus' Harrison Boon...

Who is Harrison Boon?

Harrison is a 33-year old builder turned reality TV star, having appeared on series 10 of Married At First Sight Australia.

Harrison wasn't a fan-favourite during his time on the show, following his show-wife Bronte Schofield pulling him aside on their wedding day to confront him about rumours he was dating someone outside of the show. Rumoured to be dating a 20-year-old, it's fair to say that he and Bronte continued with a rocky relationship during their time on MAFS.

Are Harrison and Bronte still together?

Given that he's currently in a relationship with someone else, you won't be surprised that Harrison and Bronte are no longer together. They separated on the show before the final vows.

Keep reading to find out which other couples from the 2023 season of MAFS Australia have stayed together, and who has called it quits!

Who is he dating now?

Harrison went public with his girlfriend Gina Ha in May 2023. At the time, the end of his relationship with Bronte had just aired on screen, with a source telling Daily Mail Australia: "Harrison and Gina met a few months ago after his split from Bronte, and they've been inseparable ever since.

"They've kept their relationship under wraps until now, but with Harrison's TV marriage officially over, they're thrilled to be able to go public."

Is he engaged?

In July 2023, Harrison hinted that there could be a real proposal on the cards! Speaking on the Back To Reality podcast, Harrison teased he could pop the question on a trip to Europe that the couple were planning.

He said: "I just want to start travelling. I feels like the last year I haven't been able to move really. I just got back from Tasmania and we're planning our next trip to Europe now.

"That trip to Europe could also yield a surprise."

What is he doing now?

Understandably, Harrison has featured on a few podcasts since his appearance on the show, including season nine stars Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding's podcast Sit With Us. Now, has launched his own podcast - The Harrison Boon podcast.

What has Harrison said about being on MAFS?

Following the show airing in both Australia and the UK, many of the cast, including Harrison, took to their Instagram pages to take part in Q&As with fans, revealing secrets about the show.

May 2023 - also joined MAFS UK stars Adrian Sanderson and Sophie Brown on their Divorced! Beheaded! Thrived! podcast, where he revealed he 'didn't get a fair edit'.

He said: "The network hid 90% of Bronte's behaviour, so imagine how bad she must have been what they didn't show, in order for her to look equally as bad as me, when I'm just reacting to it.

"I'll give you an example. When Bronte and I had our first big fight that was on camera, it was on the balcony and she's sat there with her sunglasses on. They cut all of my argument out about what I said to her on the balcony, which was 'I told you I was writing leave at the first commitment ceremony'. And she was acting like she got all blindsided at the first commitment ceremony and she wasn't expecting me to write leave because I sent her a text message a few days before hand saying I'm not going anywhere. She was trying to make out like I sent that text message and then lied to her or misled her going into the commitment ceremony."

He added: "What the audience doesn't know is that within that few days I brought her coffee, I tried to go on a walk and talk with her. In that few days I was like I'm not here to just live in this apartment on my own isolated, I haven't seen the person I'm supposed to be in a relationship with. This isn't what I signed up for, so I went and saw her that morning of the commitment ceremony and said hey I'm leaving. And that conversation super seeded anything I might have said in the past about wanting to stay or whatever.

"Afterwards the audience sees Bronte saying I can't believe he wrote leave I'm so blindsided and on the balcony she's going you said you weren't going anywhere, I have text messages from three days ago, and I'm going that's irrelevant you knew I was leaving we had a conversation this morning.

"And this is where it gets tricky, production cut all of this out. You only really see me going yeah I've never been with someone like you before. And that was totally not what that conversation was about."

Was Harrison given a bad edit?

Harrison went on to state viewers weren't given anything in it's true context or entirety from the editing on the show, admitting if you get to know him he's a 'really reasonable guy'.

Going on to slam MAFS producers further, Harrison said: "I have definitive proof that they f--cked with my edit. I've been on multiple interviews over here in Australia and I've said look at this video. Bronte isn't even speaking and you can hear her voice and they've used audio from three separate interviews where they've chopped specific words out of each interview and kind of mushed it all together to make a sentence that doesn't even sound the same."

Warning: The below interview contains some strong language:

After listening to the podcast in full, many UK viewers of MAFS Australia took to the comments section to reveal their opinions on Harrison have changed since the show finished.

One wrote: 'After watching this on YouTube, my opinion on Harrison has done a 180. I knew editing would have had a part in it, but I didn't realise how far it went. He just seems very open and honest.'

Another said: 'Maybe Harrison isn't as bad as the show made him out!'

Check out which MAFS Australia series 10 couples are still together:

Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James: DATING

Although these two weren't paired together, Eveyln and Duncan started hanging out after filming ended, with the pair confirming in May 2023 that they are now in a relationship!

As well as confirming the cute news on social media, the pair took part in an interview with Australia's 9Entertainment, where Duncan told the publication: "We started hanging out a little bit after the show. Everyone's sort of friends in the cast, and obviously me and you living in Sydney we probably hung out a little bit more.

"All of a sudden we went out on a couple of nights, and some of the warm fuzzy feelings happened in my stomach and I thought, 'What's this? How we going here?'

"Then... one thing led to another."

Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton: SPLIT

The show's youngest couple this year was 27-year-old PR manager Tahnee and 26-year-old voice-over artist Ollie, who had both given up with dating apps.

These two immediately hit it off, making it all the way to the final vows with basically no bumps in the road. After admitting during their final vows they were 'falling in love' with each other, these two lasted 16 months!

However, in December 2023, the pair took to Instagram to announce they'd split.

Melinda Willis and Layton Mills: SPLIT

31-year-old CEO's Melinda and Layton were paired together, with the experts hoping they could be a 'super couple', and it looks like they were nearly spot on!

After Melinda quickly got over her initial doubts about Layton, these two seemed to click into place, making it all the way to final vows and telling each other they love one another. The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary in September 2023.

However, much to the shock of fans in October 2023, the pair released a joint statement to confirm they'd split, with the pair saying: 'We still care very deeply for each other and this doesn't mean our lives can't come back together, but as of now, we think this decision is for the best.'

Claire Nomarhas and Jesse Burford: SPLIT

John, Mel and Alessandra chose to pair 31-year-old kindergarten assistant Claire with 30-year-old marriage celebrant Jesse Burford.

Although Claire 'cheated' on Jesse with Adam and owned up about it to her husband, these two actually became quite strong in the experiment. HOWEVER, thanks to co-star Harrison, Jesse started to get doubts over Claire's true feelings, with both of them later deciding to leave.

Despite the pair looking cosy at the reunion party, and Claire admitting she was heading over to Perth to see Jesse, it looks like things didn't work out romantically in the end.

Lyndall Grace and Cameron Woods: SPLIT

The experts paired together 27-year-old accountant Lyndall and 27-year-old carpenter Cameron.

Despite the first few weeks of the experiment going really well for the pair, with Lyndall quickly telling Cam about her Cystic fibrosis diagnosis, things didn't end great for these two!

Although they made it all the way to the final vows, they both chose to split during the ceremony, with Cam actually storming off following Lyndall's speech.

Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon: SPLIT

32-year-old builder Harrison was paired with 28-year-old online beauty educator Bronte by the experts.

Despite Bronte's friend dropping the bombshell that Harrison had been dating a 20-year-old before the experiment, and him getting another girl's number during the show, these two somehow made it all the way to the final decision. However, after a turbulent time in the process, Bronte finally walked out of the experiment before the final vows.

Alyssa Barmonde and Duncan James: SPLIT

35-year-old Executive Assistant Alyssa was paired with 36-year-old Cybersecurity Sales Regional Director Duncan.

Despite getting off to a good start and becoming early viewer favourites, things took a sour turn for these two during the retreat, with arguments following until the final vow ceremony. Although Alyssa wanted to continue their relationship during the final decision, Duncan ended things, admitting he didn't want Alyssa to get hurt.

Sandy Jawanda and Dan Hunjas: SPLIT

36-year-old dental hygienist Sandy was paired with 42-year-old digital marketing business owner Dan by the experts.

Despite Sandy's parents not giving their approval and not attending the wedding, the pair seemed to get on immediately, with Dan's family and friends loving Sandy's vows.

HOWEVER, things quickly went south for the pair, with both deciding to leave the experiment half way through. Shockingly, Dan then revealed he was dating influencer Samantha Symes, who was a guest at his wedding to Sandy! That didn't last long either though!

Janelle Han and Adam Seed: SPLIT

The experts matched 28-year-old beauty influencer Janelle with 25-year-old business owner Adam.

When Adam was forced to own up about his kiss with Claire, Janelle unsurprisingly could no longer trust him, choosing to leave the experiment, which resulted in Adam storming out.

Melissa Sheppard and Josh White: SPLIT

41-year-old hairdresser Melissa was matched with 40-year-old advertising client director Josh by the experts, making them the oldest couple in the series.

It turned out that Melissa and Josh were just too different for each other, with Josh admitting he felt like Mel's 'sex object'. After breaking down in tears during the second commitment ceremony, the experts changed the rules to allow Josh to leave the experiment, despite Melissa wanting to stay.

It has since been revealed that Josh is now getting to know co-star Lyndall, following the break down in her marriage to Cam!

Caitlin McConville and Shannon Adams: SPLIT

The experts also matched together 27-year-old Makeup Artist Caitlin and 30-year-old Personal Trainer Shannon.

It didn't take long for Shannon to realise he wasn't over his ex, saying some harsh words to Caitlin in the process. Unsurprisingly, Caitlin chose to leave the experiment, telling the experts she deserved to be "treated like a human being."

Tayla Winter and Hugo Armstrong: SPLIT

27-year-old Tayla Winter and 32-year-old Hugo Armstrong were late arrivals into the experiment, joining in week three after being matched by the experts.

With problems in their marriage, it was revealed Tayla had left the experiment to return home, before a huge twist saw her return during a dinner party. However, by this stage, Hugo had made up his mind and chose to leave the experiment, wishing Tayla well.

Evelyn Ellis and Rupert Budgen: SPLIT

The final couple to enter the experiment was 26-year-old Model Evelyn Ellis and 27-year-old Electrician Rupert Budgen.

Despite Rupert's nerves getting in the way at first, the couple quickly ended up becoming intimate, making it all the way to the final vows. However, the pair both chose to end their relationship, with Rupert saying: "A platonic connection alone is not enough to sustainable a loving and healthy relationship."

Harrison and Gina's relationship

Since Harrison went public with his girlfriend, he has been sharing loved-up snaps alongside her on Instagram, as well as with his young son.

Harrison started dating Gina at the beginning of 2023 once filming for MAFS had finished.
