WAIT, does this mean we are getting a WINTER Love Island?

Brrrr-illiant

Published 14th Nov 2017

We're now in the throes of the bleak mid-winter, but it feels like just yesterday we were rushing home to watch our favourite singles coupling up left, right and centre on ITV2 show Love Island.

We're not gonna lie, our post-Love Island life hasn't been that exciting. So we're SUPER excited to hear that a winter version of the show is 100 per cent definitely (maybe) on the cards.

Particularly as we'd previously heard that show bosses had confirmed it wouldn't* *be happening.

A source close to heatworld revealed that a digital tech company has been, "developing the app for Winter Love Island."

HOW EXCITING?

Oh, and former Islander Chloe Crowhurst teased the news back in summer.

She hinted she might be This Morning's correspondent for Winter Love Island; which would leave fans very excited.

Speaking to a national newspaper about her This Morning presenting slot, Chloe said, "I love doing This Morning and they loved having me.

"There might be something with me coming back as their reporter for Winter Love Island. I’d love to be a presenter on the Winter Love Island series as well – which might work out. Let’s see."

Literally the best telly show idea ever, right?

Love Island became extremely popular during its month stint on ITV2 in the summer. Despite a few of the couples breaking up (Montana and Alex), many are going very strong including winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood and Dom Lever and Jess Shears, who announced their engagement last month.

Check out the gallery below to see what the Love Island cast looked like before the show:

Marcel Somerville

In completely brand new information - Marcel was in the 90's band Blazin Squad. WE KNOW RIGHT. He's so modest about that sort of thing.
