Molly Smith's family speak out over 'fake split' claims with Callum Jones

The pair are both on Love Island: All Stars

Ever since series six Islanders Molly Smith and Callum Jones entered the Love Island: All Stars villa as bombshells, viewers have been a little suspicious about their true relationship status.

After Callum chose to couple up with Molly despite the pair claiming they'd split six months ago, many were left wondering if the couple, who were together for three years, had actually 'faked' their split to appear on the show.

Now, as Calum is seemingly enjoying getting to know co-star Georgia Steel, Molly's family have broken their silence on the claims, confirming the split was 100% REAL.

During a Q&A on Molly's Instagram Story, a fan asked: 'Did she and Callum really break up?', the response was: 'I can confirm the breakup was real, they have been broken up for six months. It's clear to see from the emotion so far'. (sic)

Many Love Island viewers have been left confused at Molly's intentions with Callum, after she chose to recouple with him during the episode on Friday 19th January, despite kissing Chris Taylor on the terrace.

Although she has been encouraging Callum to speak to the other girls, in recent nights it seems she is finding things a little weird as he cracks on with Georgia S, following the break-down of her relationship with Toby Aromolaran.

When a fan asked Molly's family if they think she wants to get back with her ex-boyfriend, they said: 'I think she has her guard up and wants him to be sure of what he wants. They broke up 6 months ago with no contact so she's unsure why he's now open to rekindling in the villa but hasn't tried to before.

'If he come on Love Island to meet someone then she wants to give him the opportunity to do that, as much as it might hurt'.

Of course, Molly and Callum aren't the only exes in the villa together. Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole were the first former couple, before Jake sensationally quit the show, and Toby also has history with both Georgia Steel and Arabella Chi.

On Monday night's (22nd January) show, Tyler Cruickshank entered the villa and chose to couple up with his ex, Kaz Kamwi, much to her shock.
