It's almost that time of year again when the nation gets hooked on watching a bunch of single ladies and gentlemen try to find love in a very glamorous villa in Majorca. Yes, you guessed it, we are talking about Love Island!

With the majority of last year's couples having now ended their romances, we are definitely ready for Love Island 2018, and show host Caroline Flack just dropped a very big tease that the show is just around the corner.

Taking to her Instagram page, Caroline revealed she can't believe it's been almost a year since the last series. She wrote, 'Exciting PROMO WEEK ahead . How has it been a year???? Where does time go??? 🤔💁🏼‍♀️😬'. sic

Despite not actually mentioning the popular TV show in her post, fans of Love Island went into meltdown at the prospect of the show returning very soon.

One user wrote, 'Omg Love Island promo. I can hear that advert coming 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻'. Another added, Is it love island time again????. sic

Despite other fans asking Caroline when the show would be returning, the 38-year-old didn't give any further details away.

Of course last year's series of Love Island was massively popular with fans. Featuring the likes of Chris Hughes, Olivia Attwood, Kem Cetinay, Amber Davies, Muggy Mike, Camilla Thurlow, Jamie Jewitt, Gabby Allen and Blazin' Squad's Marcel Sommerville, the famous villa certainly caused a lot of drama.

Despite a number of contestants leaving the show coupled up and seemingly in love, only two couples from the 2017 series have managed to stay together.

Not long after leaving the show, Montana Brown and Alex Beattie were the first couple to break-up.

2017 winners Kem and Amber also put an end to their romance, confirming the sad news in December. After enduring an on and off relationship for months, Chris and Olivia split up last month and documented their struggles on their TV show Chris and Olivia: Crackin On.

But it isn't all bad news! Despite fans of the show believing Gabby was 'using' Marcel for his fame, the couple seem stronger than ever. The pair often post loved up photos to their Instagram pages.

And of course Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt are still going strong almost a year on. The pair have travelled the world together doing charity work since the show ended last Summer.

After trying it on with almost every girl in the villa and then appearing on Celebs Go Dating, Muggy Mike is now in a happy relationship with former TOWIE star Megan McKenna.

The pair confirmed their romance last month after a romantic holiday together. After Megan appeared on The Real Full Monty last week, Mike shared a photo of the pair expressing how 'proud' he is of her.

He wrote, 'Proud of my girl'.

Despite Muggy Mike interfering with Jess Shears and Dom Lever's romance during the show, the pair are now MARRIED!

Jess and Dom tied the knot on Valentine's Day earlier this year when they appeared on Good Morning Britain.

We can't wait! 🌴

In completely brand new information - Marcel was in the 90's band Blazin Squad. WE KNOW RIGHT. He's so modest about that sort of thing.
