Just weeks after Benedict Cumberbatch's The Power of the Dog won big at the BAFTA Film Awards, it was time for the annual BAFTA TV Awards to take the front seat, with this year's winners officially being unveiled on Sunday 8th May.

Russell T Davies' powerful AIDS drama It's A Sin, featuring singer Olly Alexander, led the way with the Channel 4 show receiving a massive 11 nominations, but it was the likes of Ant and Dec, Jodie Comer and Big Zuu who won big!

Hard-hitting drama Help, featuring Scouse actors Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham as they highlighted the struggles care homes went through during the Covid-19 pandemic with their compelling performances, was credited with various awards.

BBC drama Time, which has just been renewed for a second series, also picked up gongs, as well as Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis winning Virgin Media's Must-See Moment.
