Fans think Taylor Swift’s new music video has lots of hidden messages

Taylor Swift is known for dropping hints and secret messages into her music videos and it seems that her most recent one is no different.

Taylor dropped the music video for her song 'Delicate' yesterday (12th March) and it is already trending at number 1 on YouTube, and had over 15 million views. However, it's the hidden messages in the video that everyone is talking about.

The video starts off with Taylor having to deal with the life of a pop star, being mobbed by fans wherever she goes. With the help of a magical note she then finds herself becoming invisible. Dancing through the centre of a hotel lobby without anyone batting an eyelid.

As the video continues Taylor finds herself getting on tube train, then dancing in the pouring rain, but still, no one can see her.

After watching the music video a few times fans have been quick to notice some hidden messages. When Taylor is dancing at the tube station there is graffiti in the background which says 'Track 5'. By 'coincidence' track five on Taylor's album is 'Delicate'.

Later on in the video there is more graffiti behind Taylor as she dances. One says 'It's Delicate' while the other one says 'Echoes of Your Footsteps' - one of the lines from the song. There's also a part where the graffiti has her album title 'reputation'.

Many fans also believe that the is a very subtle nod to her current boyfriend Joe Alwyn. When the 'Shake It Off' singer is dancing in the rain, there is a sign for 'Joe's Deli' in the background.

Other messages you might have missed are, Taylor wearing a snake ring throughout and the name of the hotel is 'Hotel Delicat', perhaps a nod to the song title and her love for cats?

Fans have been quick to comment about the new video and its hidden messages saying, 'I love you for always having these cute little hidden gems...' with another saying, 'Things I picked up in the Delicate MV: 1) Track 5 2) It’s Delicate 3) Joe’s Deli (Joe Alwyn)'.

Some fans have also suggested that the getaway car in the back alley is a clue to her next single, 'Getaway Car'.
