Hugely popular singer Shawn Mendes is set to team up with German DJ Zedd for an exciting new collaboration. Whilst Zedd has been riding high in the charts with his fantastic collaboration with Maren Morris and Grey, 'The Middle', he has now confirmed he has another massive collaboration on the way!
Responding to a tweet which said, 'I'm sorry for yelling, but I really need a @ShawnMendes and @Zedd collab!!!' the 'Stay' DJ replied, 'You will get it :)'.
And whilst at present we don't know any more details, fans are already super excited reacting to the news saying, 'Omg😍' and it's 'amazing'.
According to Variety, the song was offered to top female artists such as, Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, Anne-Marie, Carly Rae Jepsen, Tove Lo, Bishop Briggs, Bebe Rexha, Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony, Daya, and Elle King, before being finally released by Zedd and his collaborators.

It's believed that Demi Lovato was offered it first, but turned it down for being 'too pop'. Then, Camila Cabello turned it down because she didn't want anything to overshadow her hit 'Havana'. According to reports, Anne-Marie went as far as having artwork and a release date for the track, however the decision was taken not to release it, as it clashed with her collaboration with Marshmello 'FRIENDS'.
