Huge congratulations to ‘Bed’ singer RAYE as she has received a massive seven BRIT Award nominations. The singer, who has been nominated for Artist of the Year and Mastercard Album of the Year amongst others, has become the most BRIT-nominated artist in one year.

The other categories RAYE is nominated for include Best New Artist, Song of The Year with Mastercard (‘Prada’ and ‘Escapism’), Pop Act and R&B Act.

After attending the highly coveted BRIT School as a teenager, RAYE has gone on to release several hit songs including 'You Don't Know Me', TikTok viral 'Escapism' and her most recent banger 'Prada'. RAYE has also gone on to release her debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues’, along with an orchestral version, which features many of her hits.

Speaking about her amazing list on nominations for the 2024 BRIT Awards, RAYE said told presenter Yinka Bokinni: “My eyes fill up with tears when we talk about this, it’s too much, it’s really too much!

“The only way I can describe it is a miracle, this is deep… A year and a half ago Yinka, as far as the industry was concerned I was down and out. Never in my wildest dreams would I think that trying again would mean seven BRIT nominations!”

She went on to say: “I’m a BRIT kid, I went to the BRIT School, it was the goal, the ultimate goal was, find my way somehow to The BRIT Awards, and now I’ve had some nominations in the past, which I’ve been so grateful for, this is a whole different thing… I mean Best Album? Are you sick?!”

RAYE has previously been nominated for four BRIT Awards, dating back to ‘You Don’t Know Me’ with Jax Jones in 2018, which was up for British Single of The Year. To date, RAYE has not won a BRIT Award, so we have everything crossed for her this year!
