Katy Perry spoke to her three-year-old daughter Daisy Dove on stage as she finished her Las Vegas residency. The 39-year-old singer shared a sweet message to her 'best friend' before singing her track 'Hot N Cold' at her final 'Play' concert.

In August 2020, Katy and her partner Orlando Bloom welcomed Daisy Dove, with the couple keeping their daughter out of the limelight. However, during the show, Katy paid a special tribute to Daisy Dove, who was in the audience.

A fan account shared a video of the sweet moment on X (formerly Twitter). In the clip, Daisy could be seen on the screen as Katy said: "Daisy, I love you so much. You're my best friend and I'm glad you're here. I'm going to sing this song and I think you know it. It was 2008 and mummy was a bit wild back then."

Katy then went on to sing 'Hot N Cold', according to fans at the show. Many of Katy's fans took to social media to show their love for the adorable moment. One person said: 'I am crying she is the cutest.' (sic)

Someone else wrote: 'She's so adorable.' Another fan said: 'So cute.'

It's been a while since Katy last released new music, but back in August she opened up to Good Morning America as she reflected on her residency and revealed she had been writing some new songs.

She said: "I think that I'm writing a lot and have written a lot from a place of love, because I'm feeling so much of it - so much unconditional love, that love you never knew existed.

"I'm always writing, I have been, but I think what's really important to me is to be celebrating the world that I've got to build with all of these wonderful songs and to be responsible for a life for a three-year-old. I will be back, but let me get this right."
