Billie Eilish tears up with emotional acceptance speech at the BRITs 2020 ❤️

She won International Female Solo Artist!

Billie Eilish is one of the most successful and impressive teenagers on the planet right now. Not only has she got a string of best-selling songs to her name and a plethora of awards, but she's only gone and performed the most recent James Bond theme tune, 'No Time To Die' - a huge feat.

So it's no real surprise that she took home the award for International Female Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards 2020 (18th Feb). Going up against Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Lana Del Rey and Lizzo, Billie accepted her award from Spice Girl Mel C.

But Billie's acceptance speech got viewers choking up at home, after she sadly declared she'd been feeling "hated" recently. Thankfully, it had a happy ending...

"I’ve felt very hated recently and when I was on the stage seeing all you guys smiling at me, it genuinely made me want to cry, and I want to cry right now," she added, as her voice broke.

Fans took to Twitter to share their disbelief that anyone could make Billie feel this way, with many sending messages of support to the 18-year-old. One wrote, 'That's sad she's so young living a life millions would dream of. Where's the need for hate?! 💖' and another added, 'Awful that she feels that way - she is so talented and has so much love. I really hope all of the positivity towards her goes some way to countering unnecessary negativity.'

Congratulations Billie on your incredible win at the BRIT Awards!
