Following the news yesterday that the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel would be released on the 16th November 2018, we can now reveal the name and a first look photo AND video for the forthcoming film.

The sequel to last year's the Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be called, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The announcement was made across social media which also featured a short video to promote the new film. The tweet read, 'In one year, return to the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'.

Fans from all over the world have quickly responded to this exciting news with comments such as, 'OMG I'M SO READY FOR IT' and another saying, 'Yessss 🙌'.

Yesterday the release date for the new film was announced along with a photo of two wands in a tweet which read, 'Wands at the ready. On 16.11.18 the #FantasticBeasts story continues.'

This new film will be the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which was released in November 2016. It was J.K.Rowling's screenwriting debut and drew inspiration from the Hogwarts textbook of the same name written by Newt Scamander in the Harry Potter books.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them saw Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne play the lead character Newt Scamander - a world magizoologist. When he arrived in New York City he had a suitcase full of magical delights.
