Earlier this year, Beyoncé took the world by storm with her 'Renaissance' world tour, and she looks set to do it again as her concert film has now arrived in cinemas! Following the film's London premiere on Thursday 30th November 2023, which was attended by the likes of Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, and Michelle Williams, the film in is cinemas for fans to enjoy.
At the film's premiere Taylor reciprocated the support that Beyoncé had shown her by attending her 'The Eras Tour' film premiere back a few months ago, by arriving in a stunning, sparkling silver dress.
A few days after the premiere, Taylor took to her socials to share some photos of the pair at the cinema, writing: 'Got invited to London by The Queen…✨👑✨ Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is in theaters now!!'. (sic)
Ahead of the huge Leicester Square premiere, Beyoncé also took to her socials to share some photos of herself, and husband Jay-Z, as Queen B can be seen wearing a long silver dress, and long silver gloves.
In one of the pics the pair can be seen sitting in cinema seats tucking into popcorn and sipping a drink.
Fans of the 'Break My Soul' singer were left very excited at seeing her performances on the big screen. One commented: 'We are READY queen 🩶', while another said: 'THAT GIRL 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽'.
Back in October, Beyoncé shared a snap of her performing, with the singer confirming that the film will be released in UK cinemas on 1st December 2023. She wrote: 'RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ, in theaters worldwide 12.01'. (sic)
Of course, fans couldn't contain their excitement at the time, flooding the comments with joy. One wrote: 'LETS GOOOOOOO' (sic), with another adding: 'She’s back! 😍👏🏽🔥', and another gushing: 'I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSS'. (sic)
Also in October 2023, the singer shared a trailer for the film on her social channels, telling her Instagram followers: 'Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.'
The trailer features clips of her both backstage and on stage while on tour, as she narrates: "When I am performing, I am nothing but free.
"The goal for this tour was to create a place where one is free and no one is judged."
After the news fans left thousands of excited comments, with one exclaiming: 'OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM CRYING!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH BEYONCÉ!!!!! YOU MADE ME FEEL SO SEEN AND LIBERATED DURING THIS ERA!!!!!! I LOVE YOU DEEP DEEP DEEP DEEP DEEP!!!!!!' (sic), and another commenting: 'I love her ability to really capture memories and invoke emotion in everyone that witnesses what she shares. so excited for this!'
Back in May 2023, Beyoncé started the UK leg of her 'Renaissance' tour, performing a huge set featuring 36 songs including 'Crazy In Love' and 'Run The World (Girls)', along with her more recent hits like 'Break My Soul'.
The announcement of the concert film came less than a week after Taylor Swift announced her 'Eras' tour film would be available to watch in UK cinemas later that month. Both Taylor and Beyoncé's concert films are now available to watch in cinemas around the UK.
