Every now and then a celebrity posts a throwback photo which gets people talking, and this latest one, from Robbie Williams is just that. Taking to Instagram yesterday the 'Sing When You're Winning' pop star shared a photo of himself when he had much longer hair. He captioned the photo, 'Wind in my hair, not a single care 😉 #TBT' and has attracted hundreds of comments with one person saying he looked like a different person.

Other fans were more complimentary leaving comments such as, 'Like my posters on my wall , still have newspaper poster pullout', 'You looked as fresh as a daisy & still do!💁🏻‍♂️' and 'Awwwww 💋💋💋💋'.

This latest photo from Robbie comes just a few days after he shared a super cute black and white photo of himself with his dad for Father's Day. In the photo Robbie can be seen with his arm on his dad's shoulder as they both smile at the camera. Aww!

Meanwhile, Robbie has been in the news recently as he is rumoured to be joining The X Factor with his wife Ayda Field. The pop star revealed on This Morning this week that nothing has been set in stone telling Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, "If there is an X Factor in my future, whether it be this year or next year or never, I’m scared for my own safety and health but not because of the people out there, the public, Twitter or Instagram - my wife."

He added, "She is an A+ student from Beverly Hills, incredibly square, she is like, 'Why would you do that?'"

Robbie then revealed that he was in talks for the role saying, "As it happens, people are talking, nothing has been signed. But watch this space. I promise if it is a go ahead and I do it you will be the first people I come and speak to about it."

These rumours of Robbie joining the talent show come a few weeks after it was announced that Louis Walsh would be leaving the show after 13 years. Louis said in a statement, "I've had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I'm ready to leave."

Amelia Brown from the production company Thames also thanked Louis for, "his contribution", saying it "cannot be overstated".

She continued, "We would like to thank him for all he has given to the show over the years and look forward to continuing to work with him in the future."

The X Factor will return later this year.
