Robbie Williams reveals the reason he was forced to cancel 'The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour'

Earlier this year Robbie Williams was forced to cancel part of his 'The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour', and the singer has now revealed the reason for this was that a mystery illness left him in intensive care.
Robbie had been due to perform the final two dates of the European leg of his tour as well as a separate event in Sochi, which was also cancelled.
At the time a statement on the singer's official website said, "Due to illness, the final two dates of the European leg of 'The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour', St Petersburg and Moscow, have been cancelled.
"Robbie Williams will also not be appearing at the New Wave event in Sochi."
The 'Candy' singer has now revealed in a video uploaded to YouTube recently that he has been recovering for the past five weeks. In the video he explains how the tour was going really well, but just before he was due to perform in Russia he had some test results.
"I’ve been recovering from an illness now for the last five weeks. Unfortunately, that illness kicked in just at the end of my tour, a tour which was going so well," he said.
"The audiences were incredible, I was okay, the band was amazing, I was a soldier and I needed to finish that tour and I needed to go to Moscow and I needed to go to St Petersburg and then I got some test results.
"They were very worrying and I ended up in ICU, so I couldn’t go. I haven’t pulled out of a tour for bad health since 1998 so you know if I can’t do it then there’s something going on that I just can’t do it."

Robbie has also tweeted his fans thanking them for their messages of support over the past few weeks.
Although he doesn't reveal what the tests were, Robbie has now revealed that it has resulted in a change in lifestyle. He is now mostly vegan and does pilates and yoga every day, however he still has a "really big burger on a Sunday"!
Robbie released his 11th studio album 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' in 2016 from which he released four songs including 'Love My Life' and 'Mixed Signals'.
Then just three months ago Robbie announced he would be releasing a brand new album called 'Under The Radar Volume 2'. This album is a follow-up to his 2014 album 'Under the Radar Volume 1' which featured b-sides and demos which had never been heard before. This new album will feature music from across Robbie's 20 year solo career.
'Under The Radar Volume 2' will be released next month and 'The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour' will now resume on the 14th February 2018 in New Zealand.
