Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding date and venue has been revealed and we’re so excited.

The couple, who announced their engagement yesterday, are due to tie the knot in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Harry was christened at the chapel, and Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were also married there.

According to a national newspaper, Harry’s communication’s secretary Jason Knauf said, "They will be making sure it reflects who they are as a couple."

As the wedding takes place in May, it will occur after the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third baby, who is due in April.

The engagement was announced yesterday morning. Kensington Palace tweeted, 'The Prince of Wales has announced the engagement of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle.'

And Clarence House added, "On the news of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle's engagement, The Prince of Wales, speaking for himself and The Duchess of Cornwall, said, "We're thrilled. We're both thrilled. We hope they'll be very happy indeed."

The Royal Family Twitter account also said, 'The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.'

Roll on May! 👰
