Michael Bublé opens up about his four-year-old son's battle with cancer
He was diagnosed with cancer in 2016
Singer Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato both put their careers on hold back in 2016 when it was revealed their young son Noah had been diagnosed with cancer. Now, 18 months later the 'Haven't Met You Yet' singer has opened up about his son's diagnosis and how his family coped with it.
Speaking to an Australian publication, Herald Sun, the singer revealed he's "been to hell". He went on to say, "You know what? Hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we've been...I don't talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much."
In the interview he also described his young son as a "Superhero" saying, "He doesn't need to relive it over and again." Michael recently revealed that while Noah is doing well, he is also having regular check-ups. "It's cancer so obviously we have to monitor it but I wouldn't be getting back into the spotlight if he wasn't okay," he explained.
At the time that the sad news broke Noah was just three-years-old. The couple took to Facebook to release the sad news saying, 'We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US," they wrote. "We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.'
'Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.'
With things looking up for Noah, the couple also have some exciting baby news. Announcing earlier this year they were expecting their third child together, Michael confirmed the news in the sweetest way. And just last week Michael confirmed the baby would be just very soon and they are expecting a little girl!

Michael and Luisana first met in 2008 and got engaged in November 2009, before tying the knot in March 2011 in Buenos Aires. As well as Noah they share two-year-old Elias Bublé who was born on the 22nd January 2016.
Michael and Luisana's third child, a little girl, is due in a few weeks time.
