Former Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria Bastón, is pregnant with her first child. The announcement comes from the TV star's representative, who confirmed the news to a number of US publications, including PEOPLE and Us Weekly. The rep has also revealed the 42-year-old actress is four months pregnant, and she is expecting a little boy.

Whilst this is the first child for the couple, it will be the fourth child for José, who shares three children with his ex-wife Mexican actress and former model, Natalia Esperón.

Earlier this year, Eva told Us Weekly that José was an "amazing dad" going on to say, "He's a very selfless person and he's an amazing dad, so his children are the most important thing to him and that's really beautiful to watch."

Eva began dating José, who is the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America, in 2013 and they became engaged in 2015. They later married in May last year in Mexico.

Although Eva has yet to publicly comment on her exciting news, some are speculating that her recent caption on Instagram and Twitter was a secret hint at the baby's gender after she said, 'He makes me blush 😊 #TuesdayMood'. Although the 'He' could refer to the photographer or her husband, many think it refers to the baby.

Whether or not it is a hint at the exciting news, fans from around the world have been leaving the couple messages of congratulations. One said, 'Congratulations Eva !!! I am so happy for you and your husband !! 😍', whilst another said, 'Congratulations !!!! ❤🐤🎀❤🐤🎀❤🐤🎀'.

Others took to Twitter such as Sanya who congratulated Eva, saying she was an inspiration, and Maria, who said she was 'so beautiful'.

Congratulations to Eva and José.
