TV Star Chrissy Teigen has posted a super cute video of her daughter, Luna, wearing a tutu, as she tries to put on a spacesuit! Chrissy, who shares two children with her husband, singer John Legend, captioned the video, 'I thought I was going to have this incredible female empowerment moment where Luna ripped her tutu off and replaced it with her space suit but sometimes a girl wants to be both'.
After just a few hours the video has received over 60K likes and hundreds of comments with fans saying, 'The Universe needs more space ballerinas' and 'That’s double the female empowerment I’d say 😇'.
Luna is the couple's oldest child and regularly appears in Chrissy's social feeds. She was born in April 2016, at the time of her arrival, Chrissy took to Instagram to say, 'She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy. ❤️👶🏽😍'.
Last year, proud mum Chrissy, took to social media once again to show Luna's first words. The moment was revealed to Chrissy's fans through an Instagram video recorded while she was on a family holiday in Morocco, with the caption 'Ahh!!! So many firsts', referring to her previous photo captioned, 'First bow!'.
Following the birth of Luna, Chrissy opened up about suffering from postpartum depression. The 31-year-old went back to work, presenting on Lip Sync Battle just four months after giving birth and wrote in Glamour magazine, "Getting out of bed to get to set on time was painful. My lower back throbbed; my shoulders—even my wrists—hurt."
"One thing that really got me was just how short I was with people."
Finally, just before Christmas 2016 she had her diagnosis. She went to her doctor's for a physical and while she was there her she told him how she had been feeling. As he read out the symptoms of postpartum depression she was like "yep, yep, yep".
