It's been two months since Britain's Got Talent presenter Dec Donnelly announced he was going to become a dad for the first time with his wife Ali Astall. Now, attending the BAFTA TV awards together, Ali has shown off her cute little bump for the first time.

Wearing a tight-fitting silver sequin dress, Ali showed off her growing bump as she supported her husband on the red carpet at the prestigious awards show.

It comes after the happy couple announced they were expecting their first child back in March this year. Announcing the news on Instagram, Dec wrote, 'Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child. Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it ❤️ D x'. sic

Dec revealed he was forced to announce the news a little sooner than he'd wanted due to it getting out in the press, but the couple were inundated with messages at the time, including ones from his fellow celebrities and co-workers.

It will be the couple's first child together after they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Newcastle back in 2015.

Meanwhile, despite Dec being without his co-presenter Ant McPartlin at last night's BAFTA TV Awards, it was a good night for the 42-year-old.

Dec was joined on stage by his Britain's Got Talent co-stars Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden as the show picked up the award for Entertainment programme in favour of The Voice UK, Michael Mcintyre’s Big Show and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
