Prue Leith makes MAJOR gaffe by revealing The Great British Bake Off winner before the final

It's the grand final of this year's The Great British Bake Off tonight, and whilst fans of the popular show can't wait to find out which of this year's finalists impresses the judges to be crowned the winner, judge Prue Leith has made a major blunder by accidentally revealing the winner, 12 hours before the episode is due to air.
Clearly excited about the episode, Prue got a little bit ahead of herself and tweeted the words, 'No one told me judging a #gbbo final would be so emotional. I wanted them all to win. Bravo,' and then wrote the winner's name.
Viewers of the show were left fuming with the judge after seeing her tweet, and highlighted her error...
Don't worry though, we've decided to not include it in this article, but if you want to find it then it is out there on various twitter accounts.
After deleting the tweet, Prue later apologised for her mistake, admitting she made the error because she's in a different time zone. She wrote, 'I am so sorry to the fans of the show for my mistake this morning, I am in a different time zone and mortified by my error #GBBO.'
The final of The Great British Bake Off is set to air tonight on Channel 4 at 8pm, with Steven Carter-Bailey, Sophie Faldo and Kate Lyon fighting it out to win the prestigious title.
The winner will be the first since the show moved to Channel 4 from the BBC earlier this year.
Despite many thinking the show would flop without Mary Berry and hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, the new format has been positively perceived by viewers who have enjoyed the current series.
