A woman's been taken to hospital after an 'unattended car' rolled into a tent at a Dorset campsite.

This happened at Eweleaze Farm at Osmington this morning (Monday 22nd August).

Dorset Police tell us they were called at around 9.15am, along with ambulance crews.

A woman sustained injuries to her hip, that are not thought to be life-threatening, and has been taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said:

“We were called at 9.04am to an incident in the Osmington area. We sent an operations officer and a double-crewed land ambulance. We conveyed one patient to Dorset County Hospital by land ambulance.”

Police officers are now trying to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

We're told they left the scene at around 1.40pm.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Eweleaze Farm has also been contacted for comment.
