Love Island's Sam Bird drops MAJOR hint over what caused Georgia Steel split
They've been very cryptic so far

Fans of Love Island were bereft after Sam Bird revealed on Twitter that he and Georgia Steel had split up on Wednesday evening (17th Oct). He took to the social media site to post, 'I'm devastated to announce me and George have split up for reasons I can't bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best.'
Of course, this upset fans who'd been rooting for them - but also mystified them due to the cryptic 'reasons'.
But he's now revealed a tiny breadcrumb of information about what happened between the two of them - confessing it was all down to an ex of Georgia's.
Taking to his Instagram Story last night, Sam wrote, 'Claims that Georgia has cheated on me with our tour manager and friend Steve Lux is NOT true. It involves her ex.'
Rumours that Georgia had cheated on Sam sprang up almost immediately after the announcement of their split, with a source told OK! Online that Sam "truly believed that Georgia was the one," but that "Sam has recently found out Georgia has not been loyal to him."
Fuel was added to the fire after Georgia also announced the split via the medium of Instagram Story, only to add another photo afterwards of herself on a late-night drive with her PA manager, Steven West.

Of course, fans put two and two together and came up with five, thinking that Georgia had been LESS than loyal and cheated on Sam with Steven. Obviously, Georgia slammed the rumours as soon as they began swirling, but now Sam has also poured cold water on the theory.
