Downtown Country celebrates the Women of Country on International Women's Day
To celebrate International Women's Day, Downtown Country will share a six part music series ‘Woman Of Country’ in partnership with our colleagues at Absolute Country.
Kicking off Tuesday 8th March, the series will highlight the trailblazing women who broke records through the decades - Dolly, Shania, Underwood, Reba, Loretta....
Hosted by Ashley McBryde, this six-part documentary will look at the legacy of women in the country music scene from the 60s up until today.
The first episode airs this Tuesday 8th March at 12pm, with regular instalments each Sunday at 9am.
