Victoria is fighting fit and back behind the mic tomorrow!

Downtown Country's new breakfast host Victoria Quinn returns to the show tomorrow (Wed 18th Jan) after battling a horrific flu.

Losing her voice just three shows in to her new show, wasn't exactly how Victoria wanted to kickstart her year.

“You couldn’t write the script for my very first week on air! What are the odds that I start on my very own breakfast show and lose my voice in the very same week?

“The Country listeners are full of craic and I couldn’t believe the kind and concerned messages people were sending in when it was apparent I was starting to lose my voice on air.”

After a week's rest, Victoria is on the mend!

“Let’s go for round two…I am once again ready to set my alarm for 5am for the early starts!”

Victoria is set to return to Downtown Country breakfast Wednesday 18th January at 7am.
