Bauer Media NI celebrates industry award nominations

We’re delighted to announce Bauer Media NI has been shortlisted in two sets of industry awards today.

Firstly, in the IMRO Irish Radio Awards 2022 we have received nominations for:

Stuart Banford - Specialist Music Broadcaster Of The Year – Downtown Country

Chloe St John - News Broadcaster Of The Year - Downtown / Cool FM

Sarah McKinley – Reporter Of The Year – Downtown Cool

The 2022 IMRO Awards will e back in person after two years of broadcasting virtually, the entire island of Ireland broadcast community will gather to announce the winners of the Gold, Silver & Bronze in the Olympics of the Radio industry!

Radio and TV broadcaster Dermot Whelan will once again host the ceremony, which will take place at Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny, on Friday, October 7th, 2022.

And locally, Cool FM has also made the shortlist for the NI Social Media Awards.

The NISMAs honour and recognise freelancers, individuals, teams, agencies and businesses delivering social media marketing and demonstrating excellence in their work.

The awards event on October 1st at the Europa Hotel will be hosted by leading social media personalities with entertainment by one of Ireland’s 'most instagrammable' acts. It promises to be NI’s social event of the year.
