Have you ever dreamed of being a star? Well, now is your chance to shine!
'Star of the Show' kicks off this May at the 2024 Balmoral Show and we want YOU to be part of it!
All you have to do is grab your phone or camera, record a video clip of yourself showing off your amazing talent, and submit it to us for a chance to take part in our LIVE finals at the Balmoral Show.
We're looking for all kinds of talent, from singers and dancers to comedians and more. So, whether you've got a hidden talent or you're a seasoned performer, we want to see what you've got!
You can perform solo, as a duo or with a team – if you’ve got a talent, we want to see it.
LIVE finals take place on the Downtown stage at the 2024 Balmoral Show, Wednesday 15th – Friday 17th May.

Terms & Conditions
-If you are under 18 years of age please make sure you get the permission of your parents or legal guardians before applying.
-You must live in Northern Ireland to apply.
-One entry per person or act.
-A video link must be submitted when completing registration. Entries that do not have a video link will not be considered.
-The video must be no longer than 3 minutes.
-Your video must have been recorded within the last 2 months, and must not be edited, distorted or enhanced in any way.
-Please ensure that you are the only person featured in the video or, for group applications, that only members of the group as named in your application form are featured, and that you have the consent of all group members to upload the video and for us to use the video. You acknowledge that the contents of your video will not be considered confidential.
-If you are under 18 years of age please get the consent of your parent or legal guardian before uploading a video. If you are submitting a group video featuring anybody under the age of 18 please ensure you have the consent of their parent or legal guardian before uploading
-Online applications close on Sunday 31st April 2024 at 5pm GMT.
-Any applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
-The completion of an application does not guarantee that an applicant will receive an invitation to audition or participate in the finals at the Balmoral Show.
-Applicants selected for the daily finals at the Balmoral Show will be contacted by a member of the Downtown team by Monday 15th April.
-Finalists must be available to participate in one of the live Star of the Show finals on the Downtown Stage at the Balmoral Show, Balmoral Park Lisburn between Wednesday 15th – Friday 17th May 2024 after at 2pm.
-If a finalist is unable to attend or fails to show up on their allocated day/time they will be disqualified.
-Transport to and from the venue is not included
-Finalists must bring their own props for the live show.
-No animals are allowed to patriciate in performances - Balmoral show operate a strict no dogs policy, with the exception of assistance dogs. Visitors/acts with dogs will not be able to enter the Show. Dogs are not permitted to remain in cars in the car parks due to the risk of heat exhaustion.
-If you are selected to take part in the Show and you are under 18 years of age, you must be accompanied by your parents or legal guardians at the Show. Proof of age will be required.
-All personal details and/or information given in your application either in this form or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
-The Downtown team reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate, or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the Rules and/or are in breach of the terms hereof.
-These terms and conditions relate to your application to participate in a talent search competition being photographed and filmed for station use.
-The winner will be selected by a panel of judges at the Balmoral Show, and their decision will be final and binding.
