This week is National Vegetarian Week so here are 24 celebrities who are vegetarian, or in some cases vegan. Everyone from Adele to Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus to Brad Pitt have cut meat from their diet. Here is Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage revealing why he decided to cut meat out of his diet.

Along with Peter Dinklage there are plenty of other celebrities who have decided to become vegetarian or vegan including 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer Ariana Grande and The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth.

Ariana Grande decided to become 100% vegan in 2013, letting her fans know in a tweet.

In an interview back in 2014 Ariana told The Mirror, "I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding. But I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based, whole food diet that can expand your life length and make you an all-around happier person. It is tricky dining out, but I just stick to what I know, veggies, fruit and salad, then when I get home I'll have something else."

Despite her Italian roots Ariana revealed it wasn't too hard giving up meat and cheese saying, she had had enough of it growing up "for anyone's normal life span".

American singer Ne-Yo also went vegan in 2013, originally just to test his 'discipline'. He later revealed to his fans that he went vegan after watching a health documentary which looked at the effects of veganism.
