Experience the magic of Raymond Briggs’, The Snowman, as the magical “Walking with The Snowman” comes to Hillsborough Castle this festive season.

The famous film The Snowman is brought to life in a trail around the stunning gardens – a perfect Christmas treat for all the family. This event will take place until 7th January 2024, in line with the gardens opening times.

Walking with The Snowman™ has opened at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

Across the trail you can discover 12 giant Snowman sculptures to find, each hand painted by a different artist and inspired by the Christmas classic ’12 Days of Christmas’ in partnership with Wild in Art and Penguin Random House Children’s.

This is the first time the Snowman Wild in Art trail has come to the island of Ireland.

On select days you can see “The Snowman” on special screenings of the iconic animated film.

Walking with The Snowman™ has opened at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

The Snowman™ will be screened at 12pm and 3pm in Clore 2 in The Stable Yard on 2nd/3rd, 9th/10th, 16th/17th and 23rd December, plus 27th – 31st December.

In addition to finding each of the 12 The Snowman™ sculptures, visitors can enjoy a hot chocolate or cider from the Castle’s on-site restaurant to keep warm during their adventures.
