Sales of gin are blossoming again! Small batch, craft brands at the premium end of the market are so 'IN' right now and local traditional distilleries are making a huge comeback.

To mark the 2017 gin revival - Northern Ireland based company Taste & Tour are launching the country's first ever gin walking tour.

There are two 'Belfast Gin Jaunt' dates penned for this summer, gin fans keep Saturday 22nd July and Saturday 19th August free in your diaries. Tours leave from Great Victoria Street.

"Try 7 very different gins, including 3 locals, as we visit 5 pubs and bars learning all about gin, gin styles, garnishes, cocktails and more. You'll even get to meet some of the faces behind the gins, and we’ll throw in a few nibbles for good measure.

We start at a Victorian Gin Palace before making our way through Belfast's top Gin Joints and finishing in the Cathedral Quarter.

It is suitable for all dietary requirements and lasts approximately 3 hours."

Founders of Taste & Tour Caroline Wilson and Phil Ervine launch the brand new tour alongside the already famous and award-winning 'Whiskey Walks' and 'Belfast Bites'.
