Olly Murs shares cute birthday message as he turns 36

Just like a lot of us right now, cheeky chap Olly Murs has had to celebrate his birthday in isolation, as we continue to self-isolate to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

But being stuck indoors didn't stop Olly from celebrating in style! As he turned 36 yesterday (Thursday 14th May), his girlfriend Amelia Tank planned a day of surprises for the 'Troublemaker' singer, including a private ice cream van in his garden!

After enjoying his big day, Olly took to his Instagram page last night to thank fans for their well wishes.

Sharing a cute snap of himself and Amelia enjoying the celebrations, Olly wrote, 'So Chapter 36 begins 🎂🥳 thanks for all your amazing messages and love today! Wow I won’t forget this birthday in a hurry! So very weird but at the same time loved every single second of it with this legend ❤️👌🏻xx'. (sic)

Olly's celebrity friends were quick to comment, sending their love on his birthday. The Voice star Jennifer Hudson wrote, 'Happy birthday Olly !!!', with McFly star Danny Jones adding, 'Happy birthday laaaad 💙 hope you had a sickkkk day!!'. (sic)

Former England footballer John Terry also wrote, 'Happy Birthday @ollymurs', with Olly's fellow Essex friend Megan McKenna adding, 'Happy Birthday Olly 🎉🎉🥳'. (sic)

Olly documented his big day on social media, and by the looks of it he was certainly impressed by his girlfriend's efforts. Sharing a series of snaps on his Instagram Story, Olly told fans, 'She smashed it', before uploading a photo standing outside his private ice cream van.

Olly, who has become TikTok obsessed since lockdown started, was also given a not so lovely surprise of freezing cold water over his head by Amelia, in a prank which left him seeking revenge. 🙈
