Could Garth Brooks be planning concerts in Dublin’s Croke Park...again?

Time to dig out the Cowboy hats again! 🤠

American country singer superstar Garth Brooks is reportedly planning a series of concerts in Dublin’s Croke Park next September.

It's been seven years since the 'five in a row fiasco' which saw Garth Brooks cancel five performances in the iconic Dublin sport/concert venue.

Dubbed as Brooks' comeback tour back in 2014, what was originally two nights at Croke Park, quickly escalated to five, with a whopping 400,000 tickets sold.

But complications with Dublin City Council only allowed for two of those five gigs, so Brooks hit back saying five or nothing, in the end all the gigs were pulled.

Brooks later shared a statement that read: "Brooks said in a statement: “I have always been advised to NEVER send a message in ‘the moment.' It is said it is best to take a walk, wait a while, and think about it.

"With that said, I just received the news the Irish council cannot change their earlier ruling to not allow the licenses for all five shows.

"To say I am crushed is an understatement. All I see is my mother’s face and I hear her voice. She always said things happen for a reason and for the right reason. As hard as I try, I cannot see the light on this one.

"So it is with a broken heart, I announce the ticket refunds for the event will go as posted by TicketMaster."

The proposed concerts, however, remain officially unconfirmed, but as always we'll keep you up-to-date with any updates.
