About John Kearns
John is the voice of Cool Drive getting you home safely from 4-7pm with traffic and travel updates and of course, plenty of the freshest new music.
As well as the station’s European connection speaking Spanish, Italian and French, he’s also a keen guitarist, describing himself as a music addict. “I used to spend hours going through my parents’ eclectic record collection.”
Not only a radio DJ, John is also a songwriter and producer and jets off to the US where he does his show live from the states as often as possible.

John says: "I don't have any aspirations to be the next Ed Sheeran, I write songs for myself, I just love doing it.."
"If people want to listen to it and enjoy it, then that's a bonus," he added.
