Ness Country Park
Ness Country Park is actually named after 'an las' or Ness, meaning Waterfall. It's here that you'll find the highest waterfall in Northern Ireland. Enjoy over 7km of stunning woodland and riverside walks including a show-stopping waterfall walk.
Glenoe Waterfall
Glenoe is a magnificent 30 foot waterfall hidden deep in the glens of Antrim. It's well-worth the trek to find this beauty!
Pollnagollum Cave
Nestled deep in the heart of Fermanagh's cave country sits Pollnagollum Cave. It was in fact used as a local Game of Thrones filming location. The walking route through Belmore Forest follows winding tracks and picturesque backdrops of Belmore Mountain.
Glenariff Waterfall Walkway
Trek through the forest and along the river gorge, taking in some of the most spectacular waterfalls. This is one of the most popular outdoor attractions Northern Ireland has on offer.
Dunseverick Falls
A narrow river free flows down towards the swirling sea; this certainly is a highlight worth seeing along the north coast's rugged coastal section.
Tollymore Forest Park
Set at the foot of the landmark Mourne Mountains, Tollymore forest covers a mammoth 630 hectares. Simply follow the river, and listen out for the rumbling waters. Off the beaten track you'll find Tollymore's alluring cascades. You might recognise this as another popular filming location.
Cranny Falls
From Carnlough, take the steps going uphill beside the 'Harbour Lights' building. Follow the path left, past Gortin Quarry, to Cranny Falls. You'll fall in love with the remote wilderness, colourful pathways and charming views.
Drummoney Falls
They may be small, but they sure are mighty! Located in Kesh, enjoy a short walk through the woods, that will bring you to the falls via handy concrete steps. What a backdrop 📸
Woodburn Reservoirs
This is a sneaky spot that not everyone knows about...well, until now! Travel along the winding path in Ballycarry, on the way you'll meet local anglers fishing in the peaceful ponds and river.
Secret Mourne Mountains Waterfall
Nestled between Ben Crom Reservoir and Hare's Gap, deep in the Mourne Mountains, you can find this hidden treasure. Doesn't this look like something straight out of Jurassic Park 🤣
