After BBC bosses confirmed the hugely-anticipated series 6 of Line of Duty would land on our TV screens on Sunday 21st March, a one-minute long trailer has now been released, leaving fans VERY excited.

The new trailer features new characters DC Chloe Bishop (Shalom Brune-Franklin) and DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) alongside the usual AC-12 lot, as they investigate a brand new case; the murder of senior police officer Gail Vella.

Showcasing some very dramatic scenes, it looks like Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), along with his team DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) and DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston), take action and investigate DCI Joanne Davidson with the help of new AC-12 recruit DC Chloe Bishop.

It's been two years since Line of Duty last hit our screens, with filming postponed last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but there's still ONE question on everybody's lips... Who is H?

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show last Friday (5th March), actor Adrian Dunbar revealed the series 6 opener would 'wreck' viewers' heads.

He said, "Eighteen months have passed, so the landscape has completely changed. We’re starting from a place the audience will probably find a bit shocking at first.

"Things and people have been moved around, so the first episode is going to be one of those head-wrecks for the audience.”
